Little Bear Westsail 32 refit: Stainless cleaning Blog # 110

Arrrrr me hearties. Welcome aboard.

Very compelling and exciting stuff this. It’s time to put the rudder cheeks on. However, when I broke out the hardware (nuts & bolts) I’d forgotten how nasty looking they were. So I purchased some stainless polish and got to work. I started out by working away by hand. Then I rememberd (oldtimerz) that I own a dremel tool. So I broke that out and buzzed away with a bronze brush. The brush didn’t last long but it did a very nice job of getting the stainless all sparkly again.

What can I say? Polishing stainless isn’t the same as watching a sailing nymphette prancing around in a bikini, but I don’t have one of those so you’re stuck with this exciting stuff. Sorry `bout that.

No I’m not. 😛

As always fair winds, following seas, and God bless.
